Credit verification for VFX crew-ups

A fast, honest second pass on a shortlist — before you spend an hour on each reel.

vfxvox maintains a movie-to-studio credit graph built from VFX vendors' own published filmographies — not from a job board and not from guesswork. When a candidate says they worked on a show at a given studio, that claim can be checked against what the studio itself publishes, and the ones that can't be confirmed can be named as unconfirmed rather than quietly passed along.

On an engagement I take a real brief and 10–20 real candidates, and return a short report per candidate — which claimed credits check out against public records, what the reel actually demonstrates in pipeline terms (comp, FX, lookdev, matchmove), how the tool stack lines up against your brief — plus one ranked shortlist across the group. Every report is reviewed by a human before it reaches you; nothing is auto-generated and sent unread. Candidate material is deleted after the debrief unless you ask otherwise.

939
Studio-sourced credits, verified against the vendor's own filmography
13
VFX vendors with a live credit feed, of 18 tracked
670
Productions with at least one verified vendor credit

The graph is public — browse the studios or search a film and see the vendor credits for yourself before you get in touch.

Coverage is honest about its edges: credits are movie-and-studio level today, so person-level claims are cross-checked by hand during an engagement. Vendors whose sites disallow crawling are left out rather than worked around.
